At long last, we’ve posted all of our engagement photos. The pictures were taken by Kari McGrath at Cove Spring Park in the fall of 2009. We had a great time and we hope you enjoy the photos!

New Site Updates and Photos!
Posted on Saturday, February 20th, 2010 by Andrew
Hey everyone! Julie and I have updated the site a bit recently and wanted to give a quick update. The welcome message on the home page has been revised to reflect that we are actually married now (sort of an important update, don’t you think?). We’ve also revamped the Wedding page, since the wedding has come and gone. Finally, we’ve added four new photo galleries to the site from the wedding, more from the wedding, our honeymoon, and our first Valentine’s Day together.
A quick (big) thanks to Emily Faith Photography for shooting our wedding. Also, a big thanks to Julie’s aunt Jennifer for also taking pictures at our wedding and sending them to us.
I think we’ve finally settled into our normal routines, now that the dust has settled from planning a wedding, getting married and going on a honeymoon. We’re both doing well and enjoying married life. I haven’t had to sleep a single night on the couch…yet! We hope you’re all doing well. Feel free to get in touch with us on Facebook or send us a note to let us know you stopped by.
We’re Married!
Posted on Saturday, January 9th, 2010 by Andrew
A little over a week ago, Julie and I were married! The wedding was fantastic. We sincerely appreciate everyone for coming, bringing gifts, sending gifts and showing your love and support. We are truly blessed in so many ways.
We want to thank our parents – for loving us, raising us, and helping to shape us into who we are today. Thanks to our brothers – Jason and Philip are big parts of our lives and we love you both. Rachelle – we’re both glad to finally have a sister! Sarah – you’re already a part of the family, even if not officially – thanks for reading during our ceremony. Thanks to our extended families, as well – aunts, uncles, cousins and people who are family, even if we’re not related – you know who you are.
Particularly, we want to thank Jenny for all of her planning and hard work for making the reception beautiful. It looked amazing! Thanks to everyone who put in many, many hours and hard work to decorate, build, string lights, put up trees, and more. The reception was an awesome end to a great day.
Thanks to our wedding party! Ashleigh & Jeremy – thanks for serving as the maid of honor and best man. You are truly our best friends, and we could not ask for more from either of you. You both helped in so many ways to make the wedding day easy for both of us. To the bridesmaids – Vanessa, Chelsea and Sarah – thank you! It was great seeing you, spending time with you, laughing, and enjoying your company. To the groomsmen – Jason & Josh – you are big parts of my (Andrew’s) life, and as soon as Julie said yes and we started planning the wedding, I knew I wanted both of you as my groomsmen.
Thanks to my pastor Rick – for officiating our wedding, even though we waited so long to ask you! I have grown so much in the time I’ve known you and Julie has grown to love you as well. You are a great pastor, and we appreciate so much the work that the Lord is doing through your work at The Point and in the lives of the church.
Thanks to the staff and volunteers at Eastland – John for making things sound good and for the video work, Howard for participating in our ceremony and stepping in as the backup emcee, Rod for emceeing while you could, Alex for lighting candles and to our ushers – Jeremy, Drew, Zach and Spencer.
We’d also like to thank our photographer, Emily, for some great shots – before and during the wedding, as well as the reception. We’ve looked at the preview album on Facebook and we’re very pleased! Be sure to check out Emily’s website.
This is a very short list of people to thank. We could go on and on with thanks to many of our family and friends. Just know that we love you and appreciate you so much. We appreciate your prayers as we get started in marriage and this journey together.
Seattle was amazing! We had a great time and we’ll be posting photos and videos in the near future.

Bachelor Party
Posted on Wednesday, December 23rd, 2009 by Andrew
I successfully survived my bachelor party. Actually, it was a really great evening with some of my friends and family. My best man, Jeremy, did a great job of planning the evening. We started off with him presenting me the t-shirt I’d be wearing. From there, we proceeded to Mulligan’s – an indoor golf spot here in Frankfort. It was the first time I’d ever been there, and I had a blast. It won’t be the last time I go there. We then proceeded to Lexington to eat an awesome dinner at Malone’s. By this time, it was fairly late in the evening, so most of the guys had to go home (wimps!). The remaining few hung out for a couple of hours at Harry’s – relaxing, talking and laughing. I was home by 2:30 a.m. A great night, overall. Here’s a few pics of the evening:
